Monoclonal antibody b30c7 recognizes porcine CD27 (doi: 10.1016/j.dci.2012.06.011) and can be used in combination with mAbs against CD4 and CD8alpha to identify naïve and central memory CD4 T cells in the pig (doi: 10.1186/1297-9716-44-18). It can also aid in the identification of effector CD8 T cells (absence or reduced expression of CD27) in combination with analysis of perforin or T-bet expression (doi: 10.1016/j.dci.2016.02.022). The staining example shows CD27 expression in combination with CD8alpha on blood-derived porcine lymphocytes. The high fluorescence intensity for CD27 was achieved by labelling with an isotype-specific secondary antibody conjugated with PE (goat-anti mouse IgG1-PE). CD8alpha was labelled with mAb 11/295/33. This antibody was directly conjugated to AlexaFluor647.
